Nestled in the heart of Holt, Byfords is a delightful Grade II listed property that evokes the charm of yesteryear while providing modern comforts. My recent stay in Room 1 was nothing short of memorable; the stylish and elegant decor included fresh flowers and thoughtful touches like complimentary tea and cake, which genuinely enhanced our experience. The on-site café offered a delectable selection of freshly baked goods and a hearty breakfast that featured award-winning bacon and local Cley kippers-perfect for any discerning food enthusiast. I particularly appreciated the old wooden beams and iggledy-piggledy ambiance that made the place so inviting, especially after a long day of exploring. While there are only limited parking spaces available, the convenience of public parking nearby was a relief. Byfords is not only a gem in Holt but also just a short drive to Norwich, making it an ideal base for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the culinary delights and brewing heritage of the region. I look forward to returning, ideally with fellow beer enthusiasts, to savor both the local brews and Byfords' charming offerings.
